Normaly nokia phone not support synth sound.If the midi have synth sound the file will unable to open following to my experience.Nokia would sound bad if the midi uses many bass.The bass would change into guitar sound.

I found that my Sony Ericsson is doing much better than my friend's Samsung. |

Yes S/Ericsson may doing better polyphonic than samsung. Although samsung the most loudest than any phone (I Think) but samsung u cant really hear the background sound... not like S/E. S/E have much clearer sound if put some synth sound it will sounded very good.S/E give samsung a competition.

I have Sony Ericsson T610 and it sounds quite good for most MIDI, but I hust bought my wife a Motorola V620 and it sounds awesome. Nice flashing lights too |
